Commitment to Global Ethical Standards: Upholding Justice without Double Standards

The statement on December 1st, after 54 days of the ongoing genocidal war against the Palestinian people in Gaza, disregards the fall of 16,000 Palestinian martyrs, 70% of whom were women and children (excluding the missing and those buried under the rubble, estimated to be in the thousands), and the displacement of approximately one and a half million Palestinians from their homes, resettling them on the land and demolishing all aspects of life. The global ethical system (represented by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and all international decisions) is based on principles and values that should be universally shared, addressing ethical and fundamental human values that individuals, communities, and nations should adhere to. Commitment to these values should be free from double standards and ignoring certain groups for the benefit of others.
